Library/Media Center
Students are encouraged to use the Library/Media Center (LMC) to study, to do
homework, research, or personal reading. There are books, magazines, newspapers
and computers available for use from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
To use the Library/Media Center (LMC) students must have a Passport signed by teacher. A total of 20 students will be permitted in the LMC during lunch.
A maximum of 3 books may be signed out for a period of 2 weeks. Students must pay for all lost materials. The use of the LMC is a privilege and not a right. If a student abuses the LMC privilege, the Librarian/Media Specialist may suspend the student's use of the LMC.
The following rules are designed to insure the full and appropriate use of the LMC by
all students and staff.
- Loud talking in the LMC is unacceptable.
- No food or beverages are permitted in the LMC.
- A student who does not behave properly will be sent back to class or Multi-Purpose Room and LMC privileges may be suspended.
